Vessel pop-ups & actions

Click a vessel marker to open its pop-up. The pop-up shows the vessel's details and a row of quick-action buttons. You can switch between a compact and a larger pop-up in Display options.

The action buttons​

Depending on your permissions, the pop-up offers:

  • ETA calculation (ruler) — measure the distance and sailing time from the vessel to a point you click on the map, based on the vessel's speed. The result shows total distance, total time, and the ETA.
  • Vessel information (ship) — open the full vessel record in the Vessels module.
  • Add to my fleet (star) — add the vessel to one of your fleet groups (requires the fleet-list admin permission). See Manage fleet groups.
  • Port visit details — open the active port visit for the vessel (requires the port-visits permission).

Some installations add their own extra action buttons to the pop-up (for example to start a site-specific activity). These vary per customer and aren't covered here.

Historic track​

When Show historic track is switched on in Display options, selecting a vessel also draws its recent track on the map so you can see where it has been.
