Manage your saved areas
Your saved areas are the entries under My areas in the area selector. They let you return to a part of the map you look at often, in one click. You manage them from the Manage items editor.
Open the editor
Open the area selector (top-right of the map) and click Manage items at the bottom. The editor lists your saved areas.
Save the current view as an area
Pan and zoom the map to the area you want, then in the editor click Add current area to selection. The current map view is saved as a new area, which then appears under My areas.
Rename an area
Click the edit (pencil) button next to an area, change its name, and click Save.
Delete an area
Click the delete (trash) button next to an area to remove it from your list.
Managing saved areas is part of the map tools. If you can't see the Manage items option or the edit/delete buttons, ask your administrator about your map permissions.
