Areas & regions

The area selector at the top-right of the map lets you jump the view straight to a region or to one of your own saved areas, instead of panning and zooming by hand.

Jump to an area​

Open the selector (it shows the current area name) and pick from:

  • My areas — the areas you've saved yourself (see Manage your saved areas).
  • Regions — built-in regions such as the ANZK area, Europe, and the Netherlands.
  • Depending on your organisation, extra groups such as port areas and lock complexes may also be listed.

Click an entry and the map zooms to that area.

Managing the list​

At the bottom of the selector, Manage items opens the editor where you maintain your own saved areas — see Manage your saved areas.

The built-in regions and any port/lock groups are provided by SHIPM8 and depend on your organisation's setup. The My areas list is yours to manage.
