Route calculator

The Route calculator (route icon) works out the distance and estimated arrival time between two ports at a chosen speed.

Calculate a route​

  1. Open the Route calculator panel.
  2. Pick the From port.
  3. Pick the To port.
  4. Enter a Speed in knots (kts).
  5. Click Calculate.

The results appear below as one or more route tiles, each showing the distance (in nautical miles) and the calculated ETA. If no route can be found between the two ports, the panel says so.

Only ports that have geographic route data can be selected, so the From and To pickers list those ports. The calculated route and ETA are an estimate based purely on the speed you enter.
