📄️ Companies overview
The Companies module is the central place in SHIPM8 where you manage all your business relations. Each company record can hold contact persons, postal and communication addresses, financial settings, departments, tasks, documents, messages, and notes — everything in one place.
📄️ Finding companies
The Companies overview shows all company records you have access to. From here you can browse, search, and open any company.
📄️ Creating a company
You create a new company from the Companies overview using the + New button. The form opens as a modal dialog over the current page.
📄️ The company detail page
Opening a company takes you to its detail page. This page brings together all information and activity for that company in a two-column layout.
📄️ Inviting a company to the Customer Portal
If your SHIPM8 environment includes the Customer Portal, you can invite a company to register and log in. Once invited, the company can access the portal to view the information and services you have made available to them.
