Manage fleet groups

This page covers building and maintaining the groups shown in My fleet — creating groups, adding vessels, and tidying up.

Permission

Managing fleet groups requires the fleet-list admin permission. With only the fleet-list permission you can view and open vessels, but the add/edit/delete controls won't appear.

Create a group​

In the My fleet panel, click the + button in the header, give the group a name, and save it. The new group appears in the list.

Add vessels to a group​

There are two ways to add a vessel:

  • In the My fleet panel, open a group's menu (the ⋮ button) and choose Add, then pick the vessel.
  • On the map, open a vessel's pop-up and click the Add to my fleet (star) action.

Edit or delete a group​

Open a group's menu (the ⋮ button) and choose:

  • Edit — rename the group.
  • Delete — remove the whole group.

Remove a vessel from a group​

Expand the group, open the vessel's menu (the ⋮ button), and choose Delete. This removes the vessel from the group; it doesn't delete the vessel itself.
