Tags

Tags are simple labels you put on a vessel so you can group and find ships that belong together — for example "Regular caller", "Owned", or a customer name. You can tag any vessel, including ones from the shared data.

Add a tag

Open a vessel and click Ship tags on its details. Add the tag you want; it then appears with the vessel.

See and edit tags

A vessel's tags are listed on its details, next to a tag icon. Click a tag to change it.

Find vessels by tag

Tags are searchable: in the vessel advanced search there's a Ship tags box, so you can pull up every vessel carrying a given tag.

tip

Agree on a small, consistent set of tags with your colleagues. A short shared list is far more useful than lots of slightly different labels that mean the same thing.
