Movements, attributes & events
A port visit is made up of one or more movements — the separate legs of the call inside the port. A simple visit might be just an arrival and a departure; a longer one can include shifts between berths. On the visit's details, each movement appears as its own card, labelled with its type.
Each movement card has three tabs:
Port movements
The default tab shows the from and to points of the leg (the berths or waypoints) together with the times:
- the departure side — ATD if it has happened, otherwise ETD, or "unknown";
- the arrival side — ATA if it has happened, otherwise ETA, or "unknown".
This is the quickest way to read where the ship moved, and when.
Port visit attributes
The attributes tab lists extra details recorded for that movement — additional pieces of information beyond the standard times and berths.
Port visit events
The events tab lists the events logged against the movement: a time-stamped record of what happened during that leg of the visit.
What appears under attributes and events depends on the data your port and its systems provide, so some movements show more than others.
